Two days in a row! It must be a record. This week’s topic is actually really interesting for me because I have a hard time dropping something before I finish it. My thought process behind this is usually that I spent the (insert random price here) on the book and I should at least get my money’s worth before I chuck it on the discard pile. Recently, this has been a real drain on my reading enthusiasm because a lot of my choices have been duds so I’m forcing myself to read terrible book after terrible book. The alternative would be dropping 10-15 books a year that probably comes to about $100 I could’ve put to better use elsewhere. Its a lose-lose situation I suppose. This post will memorialize the few books that were so bad, I just COULDN’T finish them, no matter how much I tried and those books I wish from the bottom of my heart I could’ve forced myself to burn.

I’m so excited about this topic because thinking about all of the great author team-ups that could happen makes me really want to shove said authors into a room together and MAKE them write something for my own personal gratification. I’m going to warn you now that you’re going to see my favorite authors popping up over and over again because I can’t help myself 😀

You ever have a series that you love so much that you wish it would never end? I’d call you a liar if you said no! Here are five of my personal favorites that I wish had more books.

The last couple of topics have really made me think and this week is no different. I don’t read quite as much as I used to so there aren’t a whole lot of authors that I currently follow so this list will be a compilation of authors I adore no matter what they write, authors I’ve bought a lot of books from but may not necessarily have read, and authors I would auto-buy from if they stuck to a certain genre.

It’s that time of the week again and this time I had to go digging through my reading history to find ten authors I read a lot. This was hard for me because I’m a very genre specific reader. I almost exclusively read fantasy/sci-fi and romance so unless an author writes a lot of the same genre, I don’t often follow their work, unless they are REALLY good writers (and this is rare). I’ve done my best to compile a good list so I hope you enjoy reading it!
